Your searches

WHOIS, DNS and SSL lookups run server-side and are not logged. The domain name you type is passed to the relevant registry (the ANRT through registre.ma for .ma domains, RDAP registries for other extensions) or to the public DNS resolvers being queried — that is what these tools do.

WHOIS results are held in a short technical cache (6 hours for a registered domain, 15 minutes for a free one) so as not to overload the registry. That cache holds only public registry data, never anything about you.

Audience measurement

The site uses Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager to understand how it is used: pages viewed, tools used, domain extensions searched.

No measurement cookie is set before you agree. Until you accept, tracking runs in cookieless mode (Consent Mode v2) and no data is tied to a persistent identifier.

The events sent never contain the full domain name you searched for — only its extension (.ma, .com and so on). A domain name can reveal a project or an identity; its extension cannot.

Changing your choice

Your decision is stored in your browser's local storage (key wl-consent) for at most 13 months. It is not shared with anyone.

To change it, clear the site data for whoislookup.ma in your browser settings: the banner will appear again on your next visit.
